This Full Moon in Leo is uplifting, inspiring, and exciting. It’s open-hearted energy.
We will all have an extra portion of Lion-hearted courage at our disposal, firing up our ambition and desire to succeed, and with all Planets now direct and both Mars and Jupiter in a positive aspect, we have the power we need to make any necessary changes and take our lives and happiness to the next level.
We can all embrace the Leo qualities within us now, ones of self-confidence, courage, joy, creative expression, and sovereignty. Dare to put yourself in the spotlight.
Leo represents the Sun and our life-force creative energy. Leo lives life straight from the heart. They are Charismatic, generous, open-hearted, and lovers of life. We can reignite and expand our inner spark and light, inner vision and inner courage.
Like golden light, filling and expanding your heart consciousness, as you learn again to treasure the magic of life and leap into the heart of your creative soul.
We can all have a piece right now of Leo’s immense personal magnetism and ability to create love and light.
We can expand our hearts and joy and reconnect to our inner playful, creative child and shine.
“I felt lit up, as if someone had reached into my heart and flipped an inner switch, turning me on, brighter.”–Aspen Matis
This Full Moon has the potential to be both exciting, surprising, romantic, and loving. Uranus in a challenging aspect can bring awakenings and surprises, while at the same time, we are blessed with loving, romantic, spiritual, and forgiving energy as Venus in Pisces embraces Neptune in Pisces between now and the 20th of February. It’s a divine alignment that happens once a year and has the potential to make miracles happen.
This alignment is at its strongest around the 16th of February when Venus and Neptune are at the same degree, helping us to heal and forgive past hurts and download cosmic wisdom. More than ever we are able to tap into the universal and cosmic love that is all around us, helping us to shine and attract, what our heart desires. Whether it be love, happiness, or good luck. We have the power now, to attract those things into our life.
We can double our joy and good luck during this time in exactly those areas of life that need it the most, especially though on an emotional level, where we can find more joy, faith, trust, and peace within, especially through creativity and spirituality.
This is an opportunity to make more room in our lives and our hearts for more love, abundance, and joy.
It’s time to spread and receive love, in every corner of your life and soul that has been kept in darkness.
“Spread love everywhere you go. Let no one ever come to you without leaving happier”-Mother Theresa
Synchronicities will abound more than usual, helping everything flow effortlessly together to help materialize your plans and make dreams come true.
A major feature of the Full Moon is Uranus in Taurus in a tense aspect and close to the North Node of fate, that can suddenly awaken us to something that has been trying to get our attention since the beginning of Mercury’s retrograde on the 29th of December.
Good news as well as Sudden surprises can happen out of the blue, but we can also find ourselves awakening to a deeper understanding of any revelations that have come to light since Mercury turned direct on the 18th of January. Mercury is now conjunct Pluto and is close to the same degree as when Mercury first stationed retrograde, helping us to finally understand the missing piece of the puzzle, revealing long-buried truths about ourselves and others, so that we can release and move forward with greater clarity and understanding.
Uranus encourages us to stand up for what we believe in and close to the North Node of fate can signalize that we are faced with making an important decision that can have a dramatic effect on our lives.
A decision that can help to unchain our hearts.
A karmic turning point that can help to crown our hopes, dreams, and plans with success.
It’s a time when we may be faced with releasing whatever isn’t serving our highest and best evolution. Whether that’s toxic relationships, outdated ways of thinking, or self-sabotaging behavior.
A reinvention point. The time is now.
We can suddenly become aware of our great reservoirs of power and talents that are just within reach. Awakening the feeling of our special purpose in life, our passions, desires, and lust for life. A chance to be elevated into a higher realm on a spiritual and materialistic level, dramatically improving our well-being and quality of life.
Leo teaches us to love ourselves first of all, only then can we shine our light helping to uplift others. We need to indulge ourselves with self-care and recharge our batteries. So if you are feeling burnt out by past events, take time off to do the things that do you good the most.
We need to be aware of people, things, and circumstances that drain our energy. Setting healthy boundaries. This applies to the people around us as well as the influx of too much negativity in the media.
We can feel inspired to break out of our routine and do something inspiring that we love. To follow where love and our passions lead us to.
Leo, in his highest form, has a healthy ego instead of a false or narcissistic one. A healthy ego is based on self-love and respect. Believing in yourself with self-confidence and in your innate talents as well as your uniqueness. There is only one of you who has a special part to play in life. By shining our own light, we help and inspire others to do the same. A healthy ego is based on the love of others wanting to genuinely help and inspire others.
The Sun in Aquarius helps us to discover our own unique specialness and dare to express it. The power of self-expression has the effect of helping to attract like-minded people into our lives and gives them the courage to do the same. Something magical happens when we do this and people with common goals and dreams come together. This is when we begin to change our world and the world of others for the better.
It’s time to to get passionate about things that really matter to you. To do the things you love and that make you feel alive.

Snow Moon
The name serves as a reminder of the harsh winter weather and the need to prepare for and survive it. The Native American tribes in the eastern part of North America called it the Snow Moon, also known as the Hunger Moon because the food was scarce and hunting was difficult in the deep snow. The name is a nod to the natural cycles of the earth and the changing seasons.
It is a time for self-expression and embracing your individuality. Leo’s energy revolves around self-confidence, creativity, and leadership. During this full moon, these attributes are amplified, so let go of shyness and show yourself!
This is also when you feel more motivated to take the lead. You want to express yourself in new ways, such as singing or dancing. During the full moon in Leo, you may feel more dramatic than usual (after all, we’re dealing with Leo energy).
You also take risks more efficiently and want to put yourself in the spotlight. So it’s an excellent time to show your talents and shine your light (Leo belongs to the Sun). It’s also a time to be proud of your achievements and receive recognition.
On the other hand, it’s essential to recognize that this full moon also brings emotional intensity… After all, the moon is about emotions. It may be a time of inner conflicts, where you may face your feelings. Hiding them is no longer an option; it’s better to confront your thoughts.
The full moon in Leo may focus attention on issues such as ego, power, and pride. What are your strong beliefs? Are they accurate? Think about your growth and how you may be blocking it.
The moon in Leo is directly opposite the sun in Aquarius. While Aquarius is a sign that lives more from the head (rationally), Leo is someone from the heart (emotionally). And this can clash during this full moon!

Full Moon Rituals
I am letting go! Write it out!
Write down what you want to let go of — written down = out of your head. And I mean with pen and paper, not digital. Give the energy to the moon and let go of worries, people, or situations.
They are no longer within your circle of influence, so there’s no need to worry about them. The full moon gives you the strength to do so.
Take a salt bath: detox and relax.
A complete moon bath ritual is a good idea. For example, take a detoxifying and relaxing salt bath. You can use dead sea salt, magnesium salt, or Epsom salt.
Why a salt bath during a full moon?
The salt provides neutralization and detoxification for your body. It regulates your hydration, takes negative energy away from you, and gives you a positive, charged, and clean feeling.
Optional — and for the relaxing feeling — you can add oils or herbs, such as dried lavender. Lavender provides relaxation and helps against low blood pressure.
If you don’t have a bath, you can think of a Tubble (an inflatable, luxurious bath for your bathroom) or a foot bath. For the scent experience and relaxation, I have a cup of boiled water with dried lavender next to me. Relaxing music on, tea, candles on… you get the picture.
